JANAK Schools happily welcome new faces every admission season. The admissions are open from Nursery to Standard 9.

Applications are available in the school office from the month of December. The selection process also involves a meeting with the parents of the students applying for admissions to understand their children better.

A Story
About Us

Under the flagship of the Janak Group three institutions are providing yeoman service to the society by rendering quality education. The Janak Vidyalaya high school (SSLC scheme) was started in the year 1995 and was the brainchild of our chairman Shri.A.K.Shroff. He wanted to start an institution to honour the memory of his parents, who always strove to do good to the society through their philanthropic activities, and therefore he founded the school on Bannerghatta Road. It was one of the first schools to be established in this part of the city.

The Janak Academy (ICSE Scheme) was started in the year 2007 and has proven to be one the most interesting curriculums which provides holistic and broad based education, enabling students to think, study and answer independently. Year after year our teachers have striven to cater and understand the unique needs of each student to bring out the best in their interests so as to equip them to meet the challenges in life. The school has continuously maintained a straight record of giving 100% results every year.

Laboratories

Our school is well equipped with spacious and air conditioned laboratories for Physics, Biology and Chemistry with all the required tools and apparatus. They provide our students with opportunities to explore, learn and experiment, which play a crucial role in their ongoing intellectual development.

Each classroom in our school has a Smart board with pre-loaded content related to each grade. It gives a better opportunity to the students to visualize the concept and understand better as they learn their lessons.

Dance

The objective of teaching dance at school is to introduce children to the world of dance, widening the scope of exposure to the myriad styles of dance so that it is appreciated as an art form versus only being a source of entertainment. We teach both classical and modern dance forms.

Music helps students to focus, concentrate, relax, feel motivated and improve memory and thus become confident individuals. We at Janak make it more enjoyable by offering an activity class in various musical instruments such as Guitar, Drums, Keyboard etc.

Yoga is a practice that connects the body, breath, and mind. We strongly believe in the adage “ a sound mind in a sound body” and therefore encourage all our students to take part in the yoga activity class every week.

Life skills such as leadership, teamwork, patience, and self-confidence are developed through the inclusion of sports in a student's life. We at Janak offer both Indoor and Outdoor games such as Basket ball, Volleyball, Kabbadi, Archery, Chess, Karate etc., our campus has huge playground with all the Sports equipments.

Kindergarten

Our young children in Kindergarten are given the freedom of expression and are encouraged each day to partake in activities the school provides. We believe that children need to be children and need to enjoy this phase of learning which is critical to their all-round development.

ICSE

Janak Academy is affiliated to the ICSE and ISC board of India and maintains strict vigilance in adhering to their guidelines. There are over 1000 students and close to 50 refined graduates each year. We ensure the highest standards of attention to each student by limiting the classroom to 35 students per class.

SSLC

Janak Vidyalayaa High School is affiliated to the KSEEB (State Board) and offers schooling in Standard 8,9 &10. We have about 200 students and about 40 graduates each year. We make sure that every child is given the encouragement and support to excel in their studies
